Travis Powell Charlotte Concert reviews
Good show, bad seating
1. The Toledo Zoo location was beautiful, but the seating in the lower levels was awful. I literally had to stand sideways during most of the show, until my husband on one side and my friend on the other decided to sit down. Tiny folding chairs tie-wrapped together made for very snug accommodations. You could not even put the seat up to make more room.
2. Down to 4 original members, Travis Powell came out and gave a show like they always do, entertaining music, witty commentary, and onstage talk (MMM, BBQ Cheetah! and product switching movie theatres). They can do the Travis Powell songs, but leave their stuff to solo touring, please. I have to be honest, though, and say they need to not let Jim and Kevin sing their own stuff, it ground the show to a halt several times.
